The Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House is open all year. Check in time is from 5pm onwards and check out is 10am.
All our rooms are equipped with flat screen TVs with 'freesat' satellite receivers, free WiFi, hot beverage making facilities, hairdryers and ironing facilities. Our rates include a free 'malt whisky taster' (when available), drying and storage facilities for outdoor gear as well as access to a fully equipped guest kitchenette (details below).
For families, some of the rooms have space to accommodate a baby or toddler in a travel cot (please CONTACT US for details). The double room with private bathroom is ideal for families with up to 3 children when booked together with the double ensuite next door (see under 'rates' below). Additionally the entire upper floor (sleeps 6-8) or entire guest wing (sleeps 8-10) can be booked for exclusive use (see under 'offers' below).
The Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House operates a policy of no pets and no smoking (except in outside areas).

BREAKFAST - room rates include a traditional Scottish breakfast. For those not wanting to be tied down to a full cooked breakfast at a set time, we provide a kitchenette for guests to prepare their own.
KITCHENETTE - A good range of cafes, restaurants, hotels and bars servinghot food and drink are available locally in Tomintoul. For those wanting the flexibility, economy and convenience of preparing their own food we offer a fully equipped kitchenette exclusively for guest use. In it you will find everything you need to prepare snacks for lunch, evening or even full meals including hob, oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer etc.

The ENTIRE UPPER FLOOR, consisting of 3 double drooms (2 ensuite and 1 with private bathroom) can be exclusively booked as a single unit at discounted rates. This area also includes a spacious landing area with sofa bed and can therefore sleep up to 6-8 people.
The ENTIRE GUEST WING, including kitchenette,can also be exclusively booked as a self-catering, self-contained unit sleeping up to 8-10 people.
