Stronavaich offers quality guest house accommodation in the Cairngorms National Park. Neighbouring the Glenlivet Estate (within easy reach of the famous Speyside distilleries), and just 7 miles from Corgarf Castle, we are also perfectly located for visitors following Visit Scotland's popular 'Malt Whisky' and 'Historic Castle' trails.

The Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House lies just 2 miles south of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands, with its shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Located in a secluded rural setting adjacent to the Glenlivet Estate, there is easy access to over 135 miles of waymarked hiking trails, ranging from serene valleys to wild moors. There are also numerous graded cycle trails designed for mountain biking or for lower level cycling.
With the Cairngorm mountain range (hiking, climbing), The Lecht Ski Area (downhill skiing), the River Avon and Conglass Water (salmon and trout fishing), Bike Glenlivet (mountain biking) and the Glenmulliach Forest (hiking, biking and nordic ski trails) all on our doorstep, the Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House is superbly positioned to exploit a wide range of outdoor activities.

At the Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House we aim to provide first class accommodation in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Being located within the spectacular natural playground of the Cairngorms National Park, we pay particular attention to the needs of outdoor enthusiasts - whether they be hikers, cyclists, skiers, runners golfers or just nature lovers. For example, we have ample facillities for storing and drying outdoor gear and have equipped all our bathrooms with baths for soothing those aching muscles at the end of the day.
Set within a secluded location, right in the heart of castle and whisky country, the Stronavaich Cairngorm Guest House is perfectly positioned to cater for all the needs of visitors exploring this beautiful and unique corner of Scotland. Being close to the popular A939 run we are also motorcycle friendly and can offer ample, secure parking facilities.
